In 2024, I had the privilege of serving as the aerial photographer for the Unleashed Poker Run, a premier boating event that showcases high-performance vessels navigating challenging courses. Utilizing a helicopter from Sierra Bravo Aviation, I captured dynamic visuals that highlighted the speed and agility of the participating boats. From the aerial vantage point, I was able to document the intricate maneuvers and the vibrant energy of the event, providing a unique perspective that ground-level photography cannot offer. The footage not only showcased the technical prowess of the boaters but also the stunning landscapes that served as the backdrop for the race. My work aimed to encapsulate the essence of the Unleashed Poker Run, delivering compelling imagery that resonates with both participants and enthusiasts of high-speed maritime sports.

In 2024, I worked as the aerial photographer for the Unleashed Poker Run, a high-speed charity boat race benefiting animal welfare. Operating from a helicopter, I used a still camera equipped with a Kenyon 6x6 gyro to capture sharp, dynamic images despite the intense vibrations and movement. Secured by a full-body harness, I leaned out of the aircraft to frame each shot, ensuring a clear and unobstructed view of the high-performance boats cutting through the water. My aerial perspective highlighted the power, speed, and precision of the vessels as they navigated between checkpoints, collecting poker cards in the spirited competition. Beyond the race, I documented the event’s vibrant energy, from the excitement of the participants to the lively festivities at the start and finish lines.
